The MW516 is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Benq, whose specifications list 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4500 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.2 years possible. Looking at practical performance, up to 538 cm can be illuminated with 2800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 359 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 27 decibels. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
