Known as the MP620P, this DLP projector by Benq features basic specs of 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Benq, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 408 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 272 cm. With a value of only 29 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.

Best performance for 500€ - the best for every home theater fan
I have been using the Benq mp620p for almost a year now in the home theater area. I am very
enthusiastic about this projector and can highly recommend it to anyone at a price of 499€.
SUMMARY:
Color/ Contrast: - brilliant, still customizable thanks to numerous picture modes
Brightness/ Lamp: - flawlessly illuminated picture
- even with 3 lamps switched on in the room, the picture
(2.8m wide in my room) is very good
- in a dark room, the picture is simply a pleasure
Other: - very quiet, makes no problems, top transportable, no
rainbow effect, suitable for all areas of application
EXCELLENT:
(The MP620p is the successor to the MP620) About the picture I can say the colors are impressive and through numerous picture modes such as film, games, photo etc.. the picture can be optimally adjusted. The picture is still bright enough even in Eco mode when I switch on 3 bright lamps in my room. However, if you only rarely want to watch a movie with the projector, then it is advisable to make sure that you can darken the room, as the picture is then worlds better. The operating noise is barely perceptible and the high resolution means that you can also see texts and HD content from the PC without any problems. I have even left the projector running for 12 hours at a time several times - without any problems. I haven‘t had a single problem with it (except for the remote control, which costs an incredible €90 to replace). A small drawback is that it only has 3 video connections (1x VGA, 1x video, 1x S-video), but this can be easily rectified with a doubler and should only be a problem if you want to connect a lot of devices. I use the projector to operate a PC, an XBox360 and television. Incidentally, the distance to the screen does not have to be particularly large and it is also very practical that you can easily take the flyweight anywhere in the ingenious carrying bag. There is no trace of a rainbow effect and the lamp intensity has not yet diminished in my case. ALSO: For anyone who wants to treat themselves to a modern home theater, this projector is undoubtedly the best choice at the moment thanks to its outstanding performance and true XGA resolution (HD). I hope I have helped you.
