The LX820ST model is a 3D-DLP projector from Benq, intended for Short Distance applications, offering 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 126 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 523 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 349 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.
