The basic data of the Benq LX890UST includes 4000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 as well as a contrast of 3000000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 60 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 367 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.
