Based on DLP technology, the Benq MH684 device delivers 3500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 13000:1 as a projector. According to Benq, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 601 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 401 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.
