Behind the name EMP S3 is a LCD projector by Epson, whose main features include 1600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 348 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 232 cm. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
