This projector from Epson utilizes LCD technology, achieving 3600 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 25000000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 52 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 610 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 407 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson.
