Known as the EB-1975W, this LCD projector by Epson features basic specs of 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for Miracast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson.
