The Epson EB G5800 is a LCD projector that brings 5200 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 1000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 628 cm can be illuminated with 5200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 419 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
