Known as the EB-700U, this LCD projector by Epson features basic specs of 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500000:1 at a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
