The projector EB-L1505UH by Epson utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 12000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 at a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 12000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1113 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 742 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
