The Pro Cinema LS10000 model from Epson USA combines LCD technology in the High-End Homecinema sector with 1500 ANSI lumens and a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 20.5 years. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Distance Calculator is available for room planning. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 393 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 262 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 19 decibels. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
