Based on LCD technology, the Epson USA Ensemble HD 1080 device delivers 1200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 12000:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1700 hours before a replacement is necessary. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 352 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 235 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
