With the EX51, Epson USA offers a LCD projector that features 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 290 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
