Behind the name PowerLite 1263W is a LCD projector by Epson USA, whose main features include 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. According to Epson USA, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
