Categorized in the Whiteboard segment, the BrightLink 475Wi projector from Epson USA projects with a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution, alongside 2600 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 518 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 345 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
