The Epson USA EX31 is a LCD projector offering 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 290 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
