The technical data of the Epson USA EX7240 PRO includes 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 as well as a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 575 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 383 cm. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
