According to Epson USA, the PowerLite Home Cinema 8100 model provides 1800 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 36000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. According to Epson USA, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 431 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 287 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
