The Epson USA PowerLite 96W is a LCD projector that brings 2700 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution alongside a contrast of 2000:1. According to Epson USA, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 2700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 528 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 352 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
