Designed for the Short Distance sector, the X2 model from Viewsonic features 2300 ANSI lumens, a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast ratio of 3000000:1. An LED lifespan of 30000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 138 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 487 cm can be illuminated with 2300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 325 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
