Categorized in the Short Distance segment, the PS700X projector from Viewsonic projects with a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, alongside 3300 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 58 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 500 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 333 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Viewsonic's current product range.
