The equipment of the Viewsonic PJ1165 projector includes 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 with a XGA 1024 x 768 display. According to Viewsonic, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
