A projector from Viewsonic is the Cine5000, whose DLP model delivers 1000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 768 and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
