Based on DLP technology, the Viewsonic PX706HD device delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 22000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 138 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Viewsonic's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
