The M1XE model is a DLP projector from Viewsonic, intended for Game-Portabel applications, offering 360 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 120000:1 at WVGA 854 x 480. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 60000 hours, which translates to 41.1 years with 4 hours of daily use. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Looking at practical performance, up to 193 cm can be illuminated with 360 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 129 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 26 decibels.
