The projector X1 by Viewsonic utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 30000 hours for the LED light source – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 2300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 487 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 325 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic.
