A projector from Viewsonic is the M1S, whose Laser-DLP model delivers 360 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WVGA 854 x 480 and a contrast of 120000:1. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 60000 hours for the LED light source, which translates to 41.1 years with 4 hours of daily use. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Looking at practical performance, up to 193 cm can be illuminated with 360 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 129 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 26 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2024 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic.
