Model Overview Based on DLP technology, the Barco UDX-4k26 projects images in a Event environment, with technical specs listing 25000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a UHD (4K2K+) 3840 x 2400 resolution. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 40000 hours, covering an estimated 27.4 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime.
The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator.
Looking at practical performance, up to 1377 cm can be illuminated with 25000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 918 cm.
For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances.
The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco.
