This projector is named Galaxy, originates from Barco, and its data sheet shows 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and a resolution of SXGA 1280 x 1024. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1000 hours before a replacement is necessary. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 599 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 399 cm. This model dates back to 2002 and is no longer part of Barco's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
