With the Reality Sim 6 MK2, Barco offers a LCD projector that features 3400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a resolution of SXGA 1280 x 1024. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 494 cm can be illuminated with 3400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 329 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Barco.
