Based on DLP technology, the Barco DP4K-17BLP projects images in a E-Cinema environment, with technical specs listing 17000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 30000 hours, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Regarding projection size, the value of 17000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 729 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 486 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of Barco's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
