The Barco F80-Q12 is a 3D-LED-DLP projector offering 10700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 and a resolution of WQXGA 2560 x 1600. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 10700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 901 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 601 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The HDBaseT connection particularly shows its strengths in complex installations, enabling long transmission paths with standard CAT cables.
