The equipment of the Barco Athena projector includes 4800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 with a HD2K 2048 x 1080 display. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 603 cm can be illuminated with 4800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 402 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Barco.
