The DLA X900R model is a 3D-DILA projector from JVC, intended for High-End Homecinema applications, offering 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 150000:1 at UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Projection Calculator is recommended. Looking at practical performance, up to 352 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 235 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. With a value of only 20 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC.
