The basic data of the JVC DLA RS25 includes 900 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 as well as a contrast of 50000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Projection Calculator is available for room planning. Regarding projection size, the value of 900 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 305 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 203 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 19 decibels. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC.
