Known as the DLA RS15, this DILA projector by JVC features basic specs of 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 32000:1 at a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. According to JVC, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Lens Shift Calculator is available for room planning. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 19 decibels. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of JVC's current product range.
