The JVC DLA-VS4800 is a DILA projector that brings 4500 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 resolution alongside a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 450 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
