With the DLA HD12K, JVC offers a DILA projector that features 600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. According to JVC, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 249 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 166 cm. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 27 decibels. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
