As a projector for the High-End Homecinema sector, the JVC DLA VS2000U is equipped with 560 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 10000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 560 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 240 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 160 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 25 decibels. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
