The basic data of the JVC DLA-RS4100 includes 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 as well as a contrast of 100000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Lens Shift Calculator is available for room planning. Looking at practical performance, up to 419 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 279 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2021 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC.
