With the PT-VW530, Panasonic offers a LED-LCD projector that features 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. According to Panasonic, the lamp has a durability of 7000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 9.6 years based on two hours of use per day. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
