Youll find the service manual in english at www.elektrotanya.com
There are all instructions covered how to turn around the picture. (But you have to readjust all of the convergence adjustment after that.)
However i strongly suggest the cell mounting method for this unit. It is big and heavy, and must be close to srceen, just exacly on that point, where the viewers have to sit. But on the ceiling is not disturb anybody, and you dont have to readjust the convergence after each vacuuming. Even the unit is (wired) remote ready. Only problem is to get it up... this is a two-man and two-ladder task. :)
The RGB inlet on this model is not compatible todays standards. (Originally it developed to connect some 80s computing equipments.) If you wish to use it, you have to amplify two-times the scart signals and separate the synchron impulses from the green signal with an LM1881N IC, and connect them to synch input. You can get power for the circuits from the DB25 remote connector on the projection unit. But IMWHO isnt worth the troubles... RGB doesnt makes big difference compared with S-Video inlet. At least at DVD/VHS screenings.
Composite inlet is usable, too, but one of the common fault of this model is the middle pin of the connector broke out from the PCB.
If you receive BW image, then you have to try to turn the color decode switch from "auto" position to enforced PAL decoding. If isnt help, then possible the PAL decoder module broke down, you have to ask a technician to fix up. Fortunately the constructor used mostly generic parts for this unit, what are still available in large amounts. Unfortunately there are a quite lot of them inside, so to find out the faults costs many hours of working, usually costs more money, as another used unit. So if the CRTs are over 15000 working hours, maybe better to cannibalize the machine. But if they are just barely used, then it is worth to fix up, this unit is overall reliable and gives a pleasant, 180 cm picture.

Technical data Panasonic PT 102-N
Hello,
I‘m a CRT beginner and recently bought the Panasonic PT 102-N. It makes a reasonable impression in terms of brightness and contrast, but the fan could be a bit quieter, but it might be possible to change it. The seller also gave me the technical guide and the service manual - in case anyone needs more information. My problem, however, is that I have not yet been able to get an acceptable picture on the wall. I only get a black and white picture via the video input. I get no picture at all via RGBHV. This may also be due to the fact that the two DVD players I tested do not output RGB, but I don‘t think so. Unfortunately, there is nothing in the descriptions about the maximum horizontal/vertical frequency and bandwidth. Unfortunately, this cannot be found in the description here either. That‘s why I don‘t know whether the part is already line-doupler capable and which device is the best to get a recognizable signal. Could anyone help me with this? I have now bought an Extron RGB 109 plus on Ebay and hope to get further with it..... Answers please to buehlert@nt.hfwu.de
Vorab many thanks for every tip!

After that, however, the adjustment only becomes really FUNNY, as the angle to the screen may no longer be correct. Keystone distortion etc.

Panasonic PT 102y
Great piece, but I need help.
Has anyone got instructions for the projector or can give me a tip on how to adjust it so that it stands and doesn‘t hang?
The picture is upside down when standing. How can I change this? Thank you very much for your help.
