Categorized in the Event segment, the PT RQ32K projector from Panasonic projects with a WQXGA 2560 x 1600 resolution, alongside 27000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 20000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 27000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1431 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 954 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
