Based on LCD technology, the Panasonic PT LB78E device delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 500:1 as a projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Panasonic's current product range.
