Known as the PT-REQ15, this 3D-Laser-DLP projector by Panasonic features basic specs of 15000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 25000:1 at a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1244 cm can be illuminated with 15000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 829 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
