The projector PT-RZ17K by Panasonic operates as a 3D-DLP device with 16000 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 20000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 16000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1285 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 857 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
