The Acer XD1280 is a DLP projector offering 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2200:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 444 cm can be illuminated with 2600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 296 cm. This model dates back to 2006 and is no longer part of Acer's current product range.

The Acer is my first projector. All in all, it makes a very good impression. In ECo mode, the device is as good as silent. The colors make a very good, rich impression. The brightness is terrific. I‘m not very familiar with projectors. But it is certainly recommended as an entry-level device...
