With the S5201M, Acer offers a 3D-LED-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that features 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2500 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
