The projector X118 by Acer utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 6000 hours before a replacement is necessary, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Acer's current product range.
